Cutter system:

Here you can choose from either a strip cutter or a cross cutter. Both systems use two counter-rotating rollers, which are equipped with razor-sharp wheels. Cross cutters additionally feature wavelike, metal edges on the wheels, which shred the paper strips up into tiny particles.

Security levels

DIN 32757 defines 5 different security levels. The levels are defined by the maximum size that the shredded pieces of document are allowed to be.
Generally speaking, the more confidential the document to be shredded, the higher the security level required.

The higher the security level is, the finer the pieces of shredded paper are, making it much harder to reassemble the documents. In addition, the container for the shredded documents needs much less space, making trips to the paper bin less frequent.

Cutting capacity:

Even when it comes to cutting capacity, you shouldn’t leave anything to chance. The more the shredder is used, the more paper it should be able to process at a time. The top-of-the-line model „CCD 1526L” can take such a beating that it won’t break down even with as many as 15 sheets of paper at once.
